Guildford Castle VR - the future of digital heritage
Guildford Castle is a free roaming, narrative VR experience with light interactivity, developed by Historic VR. Everything you see here was painstakingly modeled on the original castle and surrounding gardens, using lidar scanning and photogrammetry, augmented by state-of-the-art modelling techniques in the Unreal game engine. I was honoured to help incubate this project as co-founder of Historic VR. For more information see https://historicvr.com or download on Steam (VR headset required).
